Brains! (I swear it’s a real one)
Yes! I held a human brain! Held it in my own two itty bitty, purple latex glove coated hands! It was heavier than I expected, dry and SIMPLY AMAZING. I will never think of early childhood brain development the same way again, which was the intended point of me getting to hold a brain now that I think about it.
And I’m not sure why we had to wear PURPLE gloves, but that detail does kind of add to the storytelling weirdness. It was all so unexpected. Although I’m thrilled I’ve held a brain, I am happy to report that I didn’t SMELL it like BH did.
Oddly, it looks much creepier in this photo (that’s Katy holding it) than it did in person.

Wow, most cool. I wish I had one of those!
Hi Joe! Welcome to FlackRabbit! I know – it was freakin cool. I didn’t get to keep it though (sigh).
Once again, I am just in awe! I want to hold one!
Jenny — it was really amazing. It was hard for me to pass it over to the next gal because I knew I’d most likely never do that again.
