Holy freaking cow. After 29 years of searching for the perfect nail polish (except the three years I wore acrylic nails) I’ve found it! You must go to Walgreens right this second and buy Maybelline Salon Expert in Sheer Ballet Pink.
Here’s why:
- Unlike OPI colors, this nail polish does not chip 20 seconds after you apply it. In fact, it took FOUR days for it to chip last week.
- It only costs $4.79.
- It stays glossy and new-like for DAYS.
- It doesn’t look like you tried and failed to give yourself a manicure. It just looks like your nails are very well taken care of and natural.
- It’s not all fake pink with that awful white-ish undertone like OPI.

Ooooh. I’m really going tomorrow to get this. I LOVE wearing a very pale pinkish color…mostly so when it chips it doesn’t look so bad. And light colors typically do not make me appear quite so pale. Of which I am, but still.

When you tell people you are 29 do they act surprised? Nothing makes me feel better when people do that.
I accredit it all to a lack of the ability to tan. Which I hated in high school/undergrad, but now rather appreciate.
