Start a Flacks Meetup in Your Town

I receive a steady flow of emails from folks asking about my motivation (video) for starting the DC Flacks happy hour, how I get folks to show up, how it’s organized, etc. I’ve helped Nashville and Tallahassee found and organize their Meetups and I’m happy to help you, too!

Here’s a quick post on how to start your own ___ Flacks Meetup. If you declare it, they will come–but you must promote, promote, promote. Just remember, it took two years for DC Flacks to become what it is today. You’ll have to start off small before you take over the world!

Affiliate with the Flacks Family

As long as your Flacks Meetup meets regularly, is free of charge, no-pressure, sets no formal agenda and is well-organized and fun, you are welcome to affiliate with the official Flacks Meetups and mimic our format in your own town.

Affiliate Flacks Meetups will be cross-promoted on the sister groups’ About Us and Welcome pages, as well as on Twitter, LinkedIn and Flackrabbit.com. Affiliate Flacks Meetups may also plagiarize as much or as little of our content as you like; note the About Us and Welcome pages are the same for DC, Nashville and Tallahassee.
